Scientific Societies

Many research and academic scientists belong to one or more scientific societies In order to share their findings with colleagues at other institutions in all parts of the world. These societies typically have governing boards and special committees to deal with specific aspects of their operations, not the least of which are organizing conferences and producing technical publications.

Since members of these boards and committees are often located in different parts of the country and/or world, arranging meetings can sometimes prove challenging.

Board and committee members can participate in LORROS meetings at a time which is convenient for them.

Additionally, LORROS has Google Translate built in, allowing participants (using Chrome) to participate in their own language.
